But this He spoke Ask in Faith: concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive, for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified." They need a river of life. The falling upon us of the Holy Spirit, fills us. By being filled, a river of life is able to flow out of us and bless others. We can have faith because we know from God's word the promises such as these. (Acts 2:17, 38 -39). We know God will to keep his promises. 3. Empowering us to Minister in the gifts of His Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:1 -7, “Now concerning the gifts brethen, I would not have Receive: you ignorant... Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And We receive the Holy Spirit as a gift, not on the basis of works, but by "hearing with there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all faith" (Galatians 3:5). The world profits by those of us who are filled and baptized with the Holy Spirit and who are operating in the gifts of the Spirit. Through His gifts, we evangelize, preach, have mercy, teach, prophecy, work miracles, minister healing, have faith, etc. These Yield To God: gifts are perfected and brought to maturity through the baptism with the Holy Spirit.
