DAY 1: /ARRIVAL Upon arrival at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra, you will be met by a Grandeur Consult driver and guide and transferred to your hotel to freshen up.

You will then proceed on a short tour of Accra which is the Capital city of Ghana. This tour will take us the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre for Pan African Culture. We will continue to the memorial Park and Mausoleum which is the final resting place of the First , Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and his wife, Madam Fatia Nkrumah. After this tour we will visit the Osu Castle and finally we will pay visit to Makola Market which is the largest traditional market in Accra and there we will experience a typical African Market atmosphere.

DAY 2: ACCRA → ELMINA

Depart Accra for Elmina in the Central Region of Ghana. This region is noted for History. Our first point of visit will be to the Kakum National Park where we will have an hour's walk through this rich tropical rainforest endowed with medicinal plants. After lunch we will visit the Cape Coast and Elmina Castles for a guided tour of the slave dungeons. These two Castles are all world Heritage sites.

DAY 3: ELMINA →NZULENZU →AXIM

We leave for Nzulezo (the village on stilts), 90km west of Takoradi. The ancestors of this village were said to have been led to the place by a snail. Nzulezo means "surface of water". We will witness how the daily activities of the inhabitants such as cooking, schooling, sports, festivals and durbars takes place on water. In the afternoon we will visit Fort Appolonia at Benyin for a guided tour.

DAY 4: AXIM → ANKASA RESEVE →ELMINA

We depart our hotel after breakfast to visit the Ankasa Reserve. This is an area of pristine rainforest on the border with Ivory Coast. Specialities here include Hartlaub’s Duck, White- bellied Kingfisher, the cartoonish Great Blue Turaco, and a good mix of scarce illadopses and greenbuls. The enigmatic and extremely rare White-breasted Guineafowl has also recently been sighted here, while nocturnal excursions will search for the rare Akun Eagle-Owl.

Return to Elmina via the Wassa Domama rock shrine for a short visit.

DAY 5: ELMINA → ACCRA

Return to Accra via Forts Antonio and Grossfriedrichsburg arriving late afternoon. Overnight in Accra

DAY 6: ACCRA → DEPARTURE

The morning will be at leisure to reflect on all the tours. You will be transferred to the airport later in the day for your departure flight. ENJOY YOUR TOUR
