This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Performance Test Tool Specialist to join the Test Team. Reporting to a Test Analyst Lead you will provide professional testing services ensuring efficient and comprehensive Test and Release Management approaches for enterprise scale in-house built applications and 3rd party commercial off the shelf (COTS) solutions. You will be responsible for all aspects of project test planning, test design and test execution for assigned national and local projects ensuring that technical solutions are delivered to the Force within the required timescales, cost and quality parameters. You will be responsible for the development and execution of performance test collateral covering a range of local and national projects.

As a successful Performance Test Tool Specialist you will be educated to Degree level in a computing or software engineering discipline.

You are required to have an understanding and knowledge in all aspects of IT Test methodologies and use of test tools such as ALM Quality Centre and UFT and proven experience of performance test toolsets (for example Eggplant Performance). Additionally, you should have excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills.

This full time post is permanent and requires Management Vetting and Security Clearance. You will work 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
