JOTA JOTI 2017

What is JOTA JOTI? on the Air, or JOTA, is the world’s largest annual event that uses amateur radio to link Scouts around the world, around the nation and in your own community. It is estimated that 500,000 Scouts participate each year. This worldwide jamboree requires no travel, other than to your local JOTA Station.

Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) is a variant of the event that utilises internet services including chat rooms, Minecraft and Teamspeak to enable worldwide communication. Link and Scout Wired are two networks that can be used.

JOTA is celebrating 60 years in 2017 and we expect this to be a big year for worldwide communications on the weekend.
