MINUTES OF PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

HELD AT 7.30 PM ON MONDAY 13th MAY 2019

AT THE FOX INN,

PRESENT Cllr Paul Moulds (PM), (Chairman) Cllrs. Roland Brockman (RB), Joan Bowerman (JB), Richard Morgan (RM), Jean Prevost (JP), Eugene Simpson (ES), Denis Udall (DU). In attendance: Clerk to the Council Ernie Fenwick and 10 members of the public.

2151. CHAIRMAN’S WELCOME & PUBLIC PARTICIPATION The Chairman welcomed everyone present and opened the meeting.

The following items were raised by members of the public • MGCC would like assistance on the wording for the Planning Application for amendment to the conditions for the Matching Cricket Club pavilion for use of local parish organisations. • Layout and development of The Chequers. PM proposed that several members of the council visit The Chequers to look at the proposals. • Play area sign required at Jubilee Field / Rainbow Road. ES to liaise with resident. • VAS sign works intermittently. Clerk to report to Highways and AJ

2155. REPORTS TO AND FROM COUNTY AND DISTRICT COUNCILLORS RM reported that the elections have been carried out, 58 councillors Conservatives still in control. Committees being elected this week. Hoggs Farm planning to be visited by the planning committee.

AND MATCHING TYE a) To consider issues for Matching Green • Pond at Matching Green 4 bales of barley straw have been put into the pond and have cleaned the pond. • Swans eggs have been taken. • Requirement for a defibrillator on the Cricket pavilion was needed in The Chequers and failed to work as the number failed to work. PM has checked the defibrillator and used the correct number and it worked perfectly. A defibrillator is being fitted at The Chequers

b) To consider issues for Matching Tye • Mirror has been fitted at Rainbow Road No sewerage problems c) Housham Tye & Hobbs Cross • Kerbing still awaited • Carters Green hole in the road opposite Willow Cottage. JP will report to Highways

2159. JUBILEE FIELD ES has not been able to paint the goal posts. Mound needs to be strimmed. Old chestnut fencing needs to be removed.
