In the final game of the night, junior forward Troy Terry struck twice in the third period to rally second-seeded No. 4/5 Denver to a 3-2 win over No. 7 seed Colorado College Saturday at Mag- ness Arena, tying their best-of-three series at 1-1. A short-handed goal from CC junior forward Trey Bradley late in the first frame opened the scoring, as he went the length of the ice for the goal, but DU sophomore Henrik Borgstrom answered early in the second stanza to tie the game on the power play. The Tigers (15- 16-5) responded with a power play goal of their own late in the middle period to take a 2-1 lead into the second intermission. But Terry pulled the Pioneers (19-9-8) even early in the final frame and then blasted a goal top-corner with 5:31 remaining in regula- tion to give Denver its first lead of the series and the victory. DU finished with a 49-27 edge in shots on goal, but sophomore Alex Leclerc totaled a career-high 46 saves to keep CC in the game. The rivals complete their series Sunday at 6:07 p.m. MT with a trip to the Frozen Faceoff at stake.

Teams are re-seeded for the semifinals of the NCHC Frozen Fa- ceoff, meaning match-ups will not be known until all four teams are known. Times for both semifinals will then be announced on Monday morning.
