249.088 Nomination to Nonpartisan Office This office can be won at the Primary Election if; Only 1 candidate files for this office in the Primary Election. Or If 2 or more candidates file for this office and 1 receives the majority of votes (50% plus 1). Will be nominated at the Primary Election and go forward to the General Election if; 2 or more candidates file for this office and no one receives the majority of votes at the Primary Election. The top 2 vote getters are nominated and go forward to the General Election.
