• Troy Terry is one of the first 23 players to be named to the US Men’s Olympic Hockey Team roster. A native of Highlands Ranch, CO, Terry is one of four NCAA players of U.S. origin to be named to the Olympic Team roster. Selected by Anaheim in the fifth NOTES: round (148th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Terry helped lead Team USA to gold at the 2017 World Junior Championship. The 6-1, 175-pound center went 4-for-4 in the shootouts during the tournament, with game-deciding goals against Team Canada (Final) and Russia (Semi-Final). He scored on all three shootout attempts in the 2017 Semi-Final contest against Team Russia to help Team USA win 4-3. Terry also won gold during the 2015 U-18 World Championship, recording 3-2=5 points in seven contests. This season, Terry ranks tied for ninth among NCAA skaters in scoring with 8-17=25 points.

His current nine-game streak bested his previous high this season of eight straight games with a point from Oct. 21-Nov. 10 (4-7=11). Soy has recorded at least one point in 12 of his last 13 games (8-9=17).

• Sam Steel recorded a goal in three of his four games during the preliminary rounds for Team Canada and finished with 3-2=5 NOTES: points. Steel recorded 1-1=2 points vs. Slovakia, and scored in an 8-0 win over Denmark on Dec. 31 and against Finland on December 26th. • Max Comtois recorded his first goal of the tournament in a 6-0 win over Slovakia on Dec. 27. Comtois finished the preliminary round with 1-1=2 points • Max Jones scored his first goal and point of the World Junior Championship for USA in a 9-0 win over Denmark.
