The Fulvio team scored 36.89 — 16.50 in the afternoon and 18.00 in the evening with a carryover of 2.39. In second with 34.94 was , Mildred Breed, and Disa Eythorsdottir. Fantoni, of Rome, Italy, is the reigning World Open Pairs champ with regular partner . In the Mixed BAM, Fantoni played with Compton of Dallas TX. This is the first NABC vic- tory for Compton. Hamman, also of Dallas, played with Lall, of Plano TX. “I only win playing with Hammans,” quipped Lall, referring to his previous NABC victory with Petra’s husband Bob in the 1992 Life Master Pairs.
