its successful project work, Sparkassenstiftung can rely on the support of all institutions involved in the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe, secure in the knowledge that it can call on the widest range of financial expertise for its consultancy work.
The latest demonstration of this good coopera - tion is the Sparkassen Reconstruction Fund for South Asia. Following the tsunami disaster in December 2004, all of the institutions and companies that make up the Sparkassen- Finanzgruppe pooled their resources to set up this fund with a volume of some EUR 15 million.
