Venue • Julpo bay Mudflat Ecology Park in Buan County, Jeollabuk-do is where one of the places that the 23rd World is held.

The information can be obtained in the following website: https://www.0404.go.kr/consulate/visa.jsp If any of your Scout member needs a visa for entry to Korea, please inform us with the passport copy of the member concerned as soon as possible so invitation letter and other necessary documents can be prepared.

Accommodation • participants – All participants will be accommodated in the campsite on 13 and 14 August 2019. Sleeping gear will be provided to participants, you may also bring by yourself. • For Option participants – participants will be accommodated in Guest House on a sharing basis on 12 and 15 August 2019.

Airport Transfer • Arrival airport transportation will be provided for participants arriving on 12th or 13th August 2019. • Rover Scouts will be wearing a scout scarf to receive you at the airport. They will be waiting in the Arrival Hall after you claim your baggage. - 2 - Allocation of Participant • Participants will be allocated into 13 groups for Scout Moot activities. Each group will have 10 – 12 participants, including local scouts, international scouts and .

Souvenirs • Every participant of the Korea Scout Moot will receive a Scout badge, scarf and T-shirt.

Rover Moot details Day 1 • Move – Participants will move to Buan, receive souvenirs and unpack your luggage. • Orientation – Participants will be divided into groups and have ice-breaking games to get to know each other. • Opening Ceremony - Formal ceremony of officially opening the 2019 Rover Moot • Happy time – After all the activities, participants will have time to enjoy Korean snacks. Day 2 • Water Activities – Snorkeling, mud activities, banana boat activity, etc. • Indoor Programme - Various Indoor activities (details regarding indoor activities will be offer in participant handbook) • International Night – You may prepare a 5–10 minute cultural performance. If you want to join the performance, please let us know in advance on or before 10 August 2019 together with the completed application form as attached.

- 4 - Day 3 • Closing Ceremony – Certificate presentation and retrospect of the Korea Scout Moot. • Move – Rover moot participants will departure to international airport. For Option participants will move to Seoul, check-in the guesthouse. • Cultural experience – For Option participants will experience traditional market, Gyeongbok Palace and Gwanghwamun. • Seoul night view – For Option participants will move to N Seoul Tower and enjoy tea time. • BBQ party

Before(12 August 2019) • Educational Tour – A tour of Jeonju, Korea, guided by Korean scouts. Hanbok (Korean traditional clothes) Experience and Korean Traditional Village Tours Village • Welcoming Dinner – A welcoming dinner in Korean style will be hosted by Korea Scouts, to extend a warm welcome to all international participants who join the Korea Scout Moot.

After(16 August 2019) • Check-out – Participants will ready for departure. The standard hotel check-out time is 11:00am. • Visit Korea Scout Association – Participants will visit Korea Scout Association • Departure – Participants ready for departure

- 5 - III. Practical Information Camp Rules • No participants are allowed to leave the campsite without the approval of the Korea Scout Moot Person-in-charge. Please contact Moot staffs if you have urgent matters. • Please wear your Moot scarf and Name Tag during the Scout Moot for identification.

Dress Code • Participants are required to wear Scout uniform for the Opening and Closing Ceremony. • For other Moot activities, you are suggested to wear outdoor clothes and footwear (Tops, pants, socks and sport shoes) for joining a variety of outdoor activities.

What to bring • Scout : uniform, Scout scarf • Camping gear : Sleeping Bag, Personal Cup, Flash Light, Personal utensils • Something else : umbrella / raincoat, clothes, sportswear, swimming wear, toiletries, personal items, power bank, universal electricity adaptor, mug, water bottle, etc.

NSO Flag • Each NSO should bring 1 National flag for flag raising and ceremony at the campsite.

- 6 - Currency • South Korean won (KRW) is the official currency. • There are counters or booths for selling souvenirs and snacks in the campsite. Please bring sufficient cash in South Korean won (KRW).

Electricity • The standard electrical voltage in Korea is 220 volts AC. • If your appliance’s plug does not match the shape of this sockets, you will need a travel plug adapter in order to plug in.

IV. Extra days in Korea • We are responsible for your transportation only during the event period. In case of emergency, please let us know your contact and venue for staying.
