DIRECTIONS: RS = Right side(s). WS = Wrong side(s). * Follow pattern for fabric choice & yardage for lining & interfacing.
1. Follow pattern instructions. Cut out lining, interfacing ZEBRA BUTTON PURSE: Refer to photo. Substitute 7 & purse fabric. Don’t cut out handle or tab. a 1 ⁄8" half-ball covered button blank for gold buttons. 2. Cut 12" of trim for tab. Fold in half, WS together; DIRECTIONS: Glue. Allow to dry. 1. Follow pattern instructions. Cut out lining, interfacing 3. Assemble purse. Fuse trim tab; insert raw edge into & purse fabric. Fold bottom of pattern pieces under seam allowance. Turn purse RS out; press. 1 1 ⁄4" before cutting to reshape purse. 4. Glue trim around inside edge of purse, beginning at 2. Weave trim in & out on face of purse. Adhere with back, so top-pleated edge is visible above top edge. Fabri-Tac ® or sew in place. 5. Cut trim with 1/2" allowance. Fold under raw edge; 3. Assemble purse; follow pattern instructions.. glue. Glue end over raw edge. Allow to dry. 4. Sew snap or fastener dot inside purse to close. 6. Repeat with trim on outside of purse; start in back so pleated edge barely covers top of purse. Finish end as 5. Keep Sew decorative buttons onto middle spiral trim. winding trim to desired fullness while sewing or gluing. 8. Sew snap or fastener dot under tab closure. Tuck under raw end. Add handle or chain if desired. 8. Sew on the snap or fastener dot.
