This itinerary crosses the Valle dei Laghi up to . It shows awesome landscapes with interesting cultural and historical spots.

The first stop coming from will be Castel Toblino, a castle situated on the namesake lake and here you will have the chance to visit it from the outside. Then the journey will proceed and passing through Valle dei Laghi you will reach Arco where you will stop for a guided tour of the city. After this stop you will head to , where you will have lunch. In the afternoon you will proceed the tour visiting . At the end of the guided tour you will return to Trento passing by Torbole and Nago.

Toblino Castle is a rare example of lacustrine castle; it is built on Lake Toblino, one of the most beautiful lake of , to be found in Valle dei Laghi. The building rises up on a small peninsula and it is surrounded by a big park and a wide lacy surrounding wall that contribute to characterise the castle even more. At the moment Toblino Castle is a private property and it has been designated as restaurant and for these reasons it is not possible to visit it from the inside.

> ARCO

Arco is located in the heart of the Garda Trentino; one side of the city face Lake Garda whereas the other side is surrounded by the mountains. It is renowned as a place of rest and cares thanks to its climate, clean air and its proximity with the lake. One of the most important monuments is Villa Arciducale, the place where Arciduca Alberto d'Asburgo used to spend winter seasons. The city centre is decorated with many parks and gardens, refined liberty villas and beautiful buildings that the Asburgo's built during the centuries. Another important historic spot is Castello di Arco, a suggestive medieval fortification which was erected by the counts of Arco on the top of a rocky tower that overlooks river ; here you will be able to enjoy a breath-taking view from on high. Arco is very appreciated by mountain-bikes lovers, free-climbers and hikers.

> RIVA DEL GARDA

Riva del Garda is a pretty tourist resort, rich in history and art, located on the North shore of Lake Garda. The earliest evidences of the city date back to 938 a.C. The history of the city is intertwined with the noble families of the Scaligeri and Visconti, as well as with the Veneziani and the Principato Vescovile of Trento. This peculiar tiny town has an ancient city centre characterized by many picturesque lanes at the foot of Monte Rocchetta. Nearby the harbour, you can find the historical centre of the town with its suggestive sights, the beautiful square with the Torre dell'Orologio, the Rocca Medioevale and the wonderful baroque churches. > MALCESINE

Malcesine is situated on the Eastern shore of Lake Garda, on the border line with the region of Trentino Alto . The history of this lovely town is developed around the Castello Scaligero and Palazzo dei Capitani del Lago della Serenissima Repubblica di Venezia. Castello Scaligero is a perfectly preserved medieval building, which is nowadays the location of the Natural Sciences Museum, of the Historical Local Museum and of the Venetian . These two historical buildings are still alive and lively, indeed often they host plays, concerts and art exhibitions.
