NOTICE TO MARINERS M52 of 2020

KINGS REACH LOCAL TRAFFIC CONTROL FILMING OPERATIONS

On Sunday 1st November 2020 filming will take place in Kings Reach from an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in support of a film production from 06:00 to 09:30 between Millennium Footbridge and Cannon Street Rail Bridge.

Local traffic Control will be undertaken from a PLA Harbour Service Launch which will be on station in the vicinity of . All vessels intending to navigate between Blackfriars Bridge and City Pier are to call ‘SOUTHWARK CONTROL’ on VHF Channel 14 as follows:

• Inbound at London Bridge City Pier • Outbound at Blackfriars Bridge • Prior to leaving a berth or mooring between London Bridge City Pier and Blackfriars Bridge

All vessels are to navigate in this area with caution, maintaining a continuous watch on VHF Channel 14 and follow the instructions from the attending Harbour Service Launches exhibiting flashing blue lights.

Whilst endeavours will be made to lessen the impact on river traffic at this time, operators should be aware that there may be delays to vessels of up to 10 minutes during this period.

Further details will be promulgated by London VTS on VHF Channel 14 during routine river broadcasts.
