Programme details: Tuition - Specifically designed General English course that consists of 4 sessions every morning from 09:00 to 12:30 in our Junior College. Students take lessons at one of Malta’s leading private schools, which is only used by International Teenagers learning English in Malta with AM Language. Students are able to mix with an international student body in a secure environment that nurtures English language learning. The centre has a dedicated Academic Coordinator. Our teachers are all licensed and qualified to teach English to students of this age.
Accommodation – Choose to stay in one of our licensed host families and take the opportunity to practice the use of the language in real life situations. Activities - With lots of sun, short distances and our rich history, Malta offers many opportunities for young students to continue to enjoy themselves outside the classroom. All activities are supervised by our staff, cultural visits include licensed guides and transport. Please see our list of optional activities as well as our description for additional information. Our Teenage Residence Programme (12 to 18 years old) is designed to introduce the English language to the students in a fun and dynamic manner. Our specially designed Malta Academic Programme combines areas of the language course with excursions and activities to help our students maximise their stay with AM Language.
Programme details: Tuition: Specifically designed General English course that consists of 4 sessions every morning from 09:00 to 12:30 in our Junior College. Students take lessons at one of Malta’s leading private schools, which is only used by International Teenagers learning English in Malta with AM Language. Students are able to mix with an international student body in a secure environment that nurtures English language learning. The centre has a dedicated Academic Coordinator. Our teachers are all licensed and qualified to teach English to students of this age. Accommodation: Accommodation in an AM Language Residence in Sliema – Sharing on Full Board (including packed lunch). Offers excellent facilities including a lovely swimming pool, Sun terrace, harbour views overlooking Manoel Island and Marsamxetto harbour. Students stay in air-conditioned triple / quad rooms with TV and en suite bathroom facilities. Leaders give 24 hour care and provided at a ratio of 1 leader per 15 students. Bed linen and towels are provided (students should bring their own beach towels). Linen is changed a minimum of once a week and towels are changed daily. Laundry can be provided upon request at an extra charge. Activity Programme: Our activity programme is carefully designed to encourage students to make the most of their leisure time in our great Mediterranean climate. These activities are designed to allow participants to spend time outdoors, learning about Malta, having fun and, of course, practicing their English with other students of the same age. Students are accompanied throughout their activities. Those staying in host family accommodation must make their own way to the designated bus stops as determined in their programme. Bus stops are usually no more than 10 minutes’ walk away from their host family accommodation. Similarly, students staying in host family accommodation are expected to make their own way to school every morning. Students are placed within a maximum of 25 minutes walking distance from the school. In the event that the host family accommodation is further away, a weekly bus pass will be provided for no extra cost. Students placed in Residence will be accompanied by the group leader to school every morning. Similarly, students staying in Residence accommodation must make their own way to the designated bus stops as determined in their programme.
