Greg SHEEN Assistant Coach First Season

Greg Sheen officially joined the Cougars’ coaching staff in Sheen previously played professional soccer with Atlanta March of 2018. Sheen is a former Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year recipient, and led the Roadrunners to one of the largest turn- arounds in Conference USA play after taking over the reins at UTSA. After taking over as interim head coach in 2014, Sheen shifted energy towards improving the team’s offensive strategy. Sheen focused on an increase in shots-on-goal percentage, as- sists, shots, and ultimately goals.

Previous to serving as a coach at UTSA, Sheen spent three seasons with Wright State as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator. In his three seasons, Sheen helped lead the Raiders to 30 wins and multiple Horizon League Tournament Championship appearances.

Jess Greer was named the coordinator of operations for 52 starts, and seven goals. Greer joined head coach Todd Shulenberger’s staff after playing four years of collegiate soccer at the University of Missouri under then-assistant coach Shulenberger from 2009-12.

Greer arrived on the Palouse after spending the past three seasons in the state of Arkansas. Most recently the Sedalia, Mo., native worked as an assistant coach at Arkansas State University under first-year head coach Brian Dooley.

Prior to arriving at Arkansas State, Greer spent two sea- sons as the director of soccer operations at the University of Arkansas. During her time with the Razorbacks, she oversaw day-to-day operations and academics of the team. Arkansas found success on and off the field during Greer’s time in Fayetteville, earning back-to-back berths in the NCAA Tournament in 2012 and 2013.

Greer graduated from Missouri in 2013 with a degree in health sciences after playing all four years under Shulen- berger. Greer and Shulenberger led the Tigers to the 2009 Big 12 regular season title and postseason berths in 2011 and 2012. Greer finished with 84 career matches played,
