Sea Kayakers will love this book - simply because it describes one the most extraordinary journeys ever undertaken in a craft. So I suppose I can't fault her for being who she is. My only hangup is how unlikeable Freya Hoffmeister is as a person. This is worth reading for the adventure of solo sea in spectacularly challenging conditions and camping where the threats of crocs and poisonous snakes were very present.
