Delta Trans Group opens another warehouse in Ruda Śląska

Warsaw, 23 October 2019 – Logistics provider the Delta Trans Group has leased more than 7,100 sqm of warehouse and office space in Hillwood Ruda Śląska. The tenant was represented by real estate advisory firm Cresa Poland.

The Delta Trans Group, a leading logistics provider in Poland, comprises Delta Trans Transporte Sp. z o.o. and Delta Trans Logistik Sp. z o.o., which have been active on the transport and logistics services market for 30 years. Both companies are based in a logistics centre in Świętochłowice, where the Delta Trans Group has nearly 120,000 sqm of modern warehouse and production space.

“Our business growth strategy has centred in recent years on warehouse infrastructure which we are continuously expanding. As a result, we are handling an increasing variety of goods and seeing our client portfolio grow. We currently have approximately 120,000 sqm of our own and leased warehouse space, and we are also ready to liaise with other business partners,” says Paweł Rzepka, Production and Logistics Director at Delta Trans Group.

“Good location is pivotal for a transport company. Hillwood Ruda Śląska boasts a prime location in the heart of Upper and excellent road connections with other regions of Poland, as well as the industrialised markets of the Czech Republic, Germany and other CE countries,” says Wojciech Dachniewski, Business Development Director, Hillwood Poland.

Hillwood Ruda Śląska is a modern industrial park offering more than 63,000 sqm. It is strategically located in Ruda Śląska, just 4 km from the centre of the city, by national road 925 (Rybnik-) and the - central highway, with easy access to the A4 and A1 motorways. Katowice Pyrzowice International Airport is approximately 30 km from the facility, and Krakow Airport is 80 km away.

The logistics facilities of Delta Trans include modern warehouse and production buildings featuring integrated IT systems. Its warehouse spaces with a bonded warehouse and customs warehouse are located in the logistics centres in Świętochłowice and Chorzów. Its other logistics warehouses are in Ruda Śląska and Gliwice.

“On account of the continuous development of its offer, the Delta Trans Group was looking for new warehouse space close to its headquarters. Hillwood Ruda Śląska met the tenant’s requirements in terms of location, quick project delivery and start of operations,” says Jakub Kurek, Associate Director, Industrial and Warehouse Department, Cresa Poland.

“In the new warehouse the Delta Trans Group will provide a full range of logistics services for its existing and future clients.
