5 FACILITIES ON-CAMPUS

Ron Joyce Stadium – McMaster’s stadium is located behind the David Braley Athletic Centre and is used for football and soccer and is where team rooms are located for basketball, volleyball, rugby and lacrosse.

Ivor Wynne Centre – The IWC is home to Burridge Gymnasium where Marauder basketball and volleyball games are played as well as the location of our wrestling meets.

David Braley Athletic Centre – DBAC is home to strength and conditioning facilities, squash courts, two gymnasium’s in Sport Hall, and classrooms. Upon request, a classroom may be provided. The Joan Buddle Service Desk is located in DBAC and is a source to answer all of your facility questions. This is where Marauder badminton, squash, and fencing take place.

Track Field B – Track Field B is located behind DBAC and IWC and is used for recreation services. It may be available for practice time for varsity events if requested in advance.

Alumni Field – Alumni Field is located behind IWC and beside Track Field B. It is used for our lacrosse home games.

10-Acre Field – This field is located behind Alumni Field and is used for rugby.

Pool – McMaster’s pool is located in IWC and is accessed through the change rooms in DBAC. It is the home to Marauder swimming and water polo.

6 ARRIVING AT MCMASTER

Ron Joyce Stadium – Football/Soccer Buses should unload athletes at the North side of the Stadium. A McMaster represen- tative will be there to meet the team and show them to their team rooms. Locker room key cards will be provided and must be returned when finished with the room. There will be taping/massage tables provided. After unloading athletes, the buses are to be parked between Les Prince Hall and Haddon Hall. For football, a McMaster Parking Attendant will be on site to assist.

Ivor Wynne Centre – Basketball/Volleyball Buses should unload in front of the Ivor Wynne Centre and they may remain parked there throughout the game. Upon arrival into Burridge Gymnasium, a McMaster repre- sentative will provide the team with their locker room key card and show them to their room. Please return this key card when you are finished with the room.

David Braley Athletic Centre – Soccer, Rugby, Lacrosse Soccer, Rugby, and Lacrosse teams can enter through the South entrance of the David Braley Athletic Centre (DBAC) and check in with the Joan Buddle Service Desk (JBSD).

7 DIRECTIONS

From Toronto, Oakville, and Burlington: Take Highway 403 West to the Main Street West Exit. Turn left at the lights and imme- diately turn right on Newton Avenue. Continue along to King Street. Cross King Street onto Sterling Street and proceed along Sterling Street to the McMaster Campus. Take the first right once you are into the campus and follow the road to the Ivor Wynne Centre on your right and the David Braley Athletic Centre on your left. To get to the Stadium, turn left and drive past DBAC and then right at the next intersection.

From St. Catharines and the Niagara Peninsula: Follow the Queen Elizabeth Way over the Skyway Bridge as though going to Toronto. Take Highway 403 towards Hamilton and follow directions “From Toronto, Oakville, and Burlington” as described above.

From Kitchener/Waterloo: Take Highway 8 to the town of Dundas. Proceed along King Street through Dundas. This will become Highway 102 (Cootes Drive). Just after you enter the City of Hamil- ton, there is an exit on the right for McMaster University.

From Brantford and London: From Brantford, travel on Highway 2 until you reach Highway 403 to the Aberdeen Street exit. After exiting Highway 403 turn left onto Longwood Road and proceed to King Street. Turn left at King Street and go to the second traffic light. Turn right onto Sterling Street and proceed along Sterling to McMaster University and follow direc- tions “From Toronto, Oakville, and Burlington” as described above.
