Destratificator is one of the simplest and most cost-effective ways to lower energy costs and Ceiling 0 create an exceptionally comfortable thermal environment for inhabitants during both heating and 82 F Ceiling 0 cooling seasons. A destratificator gently directs the conditioned air at the ceiling77 F to a required place at floor level.

How Many do we Need?

The rule of thumb for the healthy environment is to provide indoor air circulation once or twice per hour. So to determine the number of the destratification needed use this formula: General rule calculation

step 1 L x W x H = V (Height x Width x Length = Air Volume in Building)

V CFM 60 N step 2 / / = (Air Volume in Building) (the CFM of the Destratificator) (converts CFM to CFH) (Number of the units)

For example, a building is 125 ft long, 75 ft wide, and 20 ft high.

 125 x 75 x 20 = 187,500 cu. Ft

 187,500/ 920 (for DRF-VKM 315) / 60 = 3.39 Destratificators (Always round up to the next number. In this case 4 Destratificators are required.) DRF-VK Design

• Air Intake Head for more Efficient Intake of the hot air from under the ceiling space. • Sound Attenuating Сover of Air Intake Head reduces noise reflection from the ceiling to the operating area. • Centrifugal Impeller with Backward Curved Blades creates strong pressure to enable Pow- erful Air Jet for effective destratification. • High-Efficient external rotor motor made in Germany. Equipped with built-in Thermal Overheating Protection with automatic restart. Motor Ball Bearings with selective lubricant oil ensure low-noise and Maintenance-Free fan operation. • Aluminium Guiding Nozzle to Enhance Air Jet even more. • UV-protected durable corrosion-resistant polymer case. • The fastening design is so simple that you can install the DRF-VK fan with your own hands easy and quickly. The special Rotating Mounting Bracket is used for reliable fixa- tion of the destratification fan at any angle not only to the ceiling, but to the wall. • Tether for additional mounting Safety. • Build-in Temperature Control turns the fan on only when hot air is collected under the ceiling (Models DRF-VK...U).

Application

Privilege of the DRF-VKM & DRF-VK products DRF-VKM & DRF-VK destratification fan is equipped with a specially designed nozzle to attain the maximum possible destratification.

A unique mushroom-shaped airstream, initially narrow with wide opened reach, is the basic advantage of the DRF-VKM/VK destratification fans. The smart airstream profile produces higher air supply with lower velocity in operating areas to create a more comfortable

Smooth opening Installation height 29' (~9m) environment particularly where you need it. of DRF-OV airstream

Due to initially slimmer air jet profile the centrifugal Mushroom widening destratification fans DRF-VKM/VK applications of DRF-VK and DRF-VKM airstream are especially suitable for grocery shops and 6' (~2m) warehouses with high racks as compared to axial perating area

O destratification fans as the centrifugal models are able to eject airstream precisely into aisles with higher destratification efficiency whereas the axial models have to fight air resistance created by the racks.

DRF-OV Effective Destratificated Area

DRF-VK and DRF-VKM Effective Destratificated Area

Privilege of the DRF-OV product Axial fan of the DRF-OV destratificator combines high airflow and extremely low power demand. The axial DRF-OV models are especially suitable for wide open space premises. Due to high airflow in bigger areas you need less units and pay less energy costs to attain the desired microclimate!

Control

All VENTS destratification fans DRF-VKM & VK & OV can be supplied with a Built-in Speed Controller with Temperature Sensor (Models with "U" option). When the temperature exceeds the set point the speed controller starts the fan on at the set speed. As the air temperature drops below the set point the controller switches the fan off. As soon as the air temperature rises again and the temperature sensor exceeds the previously set temperature, the controller starts the motor ON automatically and it runs at the set speed. As a result, the fans only run when needed. Temperature settings range from 70°F to 95°F. Technical data
