2018 – 19 MEN’S T20I Matches

1. Laws of and Playing Conditions The (2017 Code) in addition to ICC Standard International Match Playing Conditions (version current at time of match as published by the ICC) shall apply to all T20I Matches and Tour Matches except as modified below.

DRS will be used during the series.

2. The Ball ICC Regulations shall apply as regards to the ball. Kookaburra “Turf” brand white balls as approved by Cricket Australia will be used in all matches.

3. Hours of Play and Intervals:

3.1 Start and Cessation Times

3.2 Extra Time Provision has been made for up to 20 minutes of extra playing time.

3.3 Interval ICC Standard Twenty20 Match Playing Condition 11.4.1 shall not apply and shall be replaced with the following:

The interval between will be of 20 minutes duration, and shall not be shortened even if the innings of the team batting first concludes after the scheduled cessation time for the 1st innings. The interval can only be reduced in the event of lengthy delays or interruptions, if !

reducing it will allow the minimum number of overs to constitute a match to be played. The minimum interval shall be 10 minutes.

4. Boundaries ICC Standard T20I Match Playing Condition shall apply, except that the rope should be a required minimum distance of 4.47 yards (4 meters) inside the perimeter fencing or advertising signs.

5. Other Tour Matches Wherever possible, the above conditions shall apply to all matches. Australian players shall be bound by the terms of the CA Code of Conduct. Touring team players shall be bound by Law 42 and/or the terms of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials. Cricket Australia shall appoint a representative to meet with the umpires and captains prior to the commencement of the match to secure uniform interpretation of these playing conditions and to adjudicate, if necessary, should there be any dispute. 20178 - 19MEN’s T20I MATCHES
