Red Fez Club Pool Rules and Regulations Revised December 2018

GENERAL It is the intent of the Red Fez Shrine Club to provide these rules and regulations for the mutual enjoyment of members and their guests. Conduct at the pool must be such as to provide the greatest pleasure for the greatest number. It is the responsibility of the members to know the rules and regulations, to follow them, ensure their guests are abiding by such and to cooperate with the Board members in enforcing these rules and regulations.

No lifeguard is on duty. Users of the Red Fez Shrine Club swim and occupy the pool area at their own risk. The Red Fez Shrine Club will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur in or around the pool. Use of the pool and surrounding area indicates acceptance of these conditions.

The Red Fed Board of Directors reserves the right to amend these rules and regulations without notice as deemed necessary.

Sign In. Each member and any invited guest must sign in before entering the pool.

BASIC RULES

1. Red Fez Shrine Club has the right to close the pool and surrounding area at any time and their discretion.

2. Only Shrine Club members in “good standing” may use the pool. A member is considered an active Shriner in good standing with the Red Fez Shrine Club, his spouse and immediate family (Children under the age of 23 still living in the ) pool codes must not be shared with other family members or friends.

3. An emergency telephone is available in the entrance (on the left side as you face the pool).

4. A first aid kit is available beside the emergency phone.

5. The pool is open from Dawn until Dusk. Persons entering the pool before Dawn or after Dusk will be trespassing.

6. Appropriate swim attire is to be worn in the pool.

7. Children who are not potty trained must wear a water-resistant swim diaper under their bathing suit. Should a fecal accident occur, all persons in the pool must get out and a Red Fez Board Member must be contacted. Use the phone at the pool; the number is posted.

8. No person under the influence of alcohol or drugs may use the pool.

9. No pets, running, riding wheeled vehicles (bikes, trikes, or skateboards), or horseplay are allowed in or around the pool.

10. No person with a skin/eye/or nasal infection or a communicable disease is allowed in the pool.

11. Red Fez Shine Club is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

12. No diving is allowed anywhere in the pool.

13. Smoking nor any tobacco product including E-Cigarettes is permitted in the pool. (all smoking must be outside pool gate)

14. The Red Fez Board enforces the Noise Ordinance at the pool area and throughout the rest of the Camp Ground area.

15. Fundraising, events, at pool, may only be operated for benefit of The Red Fez Shrine Club.

POOL GROUNDS 1. Loungers, chairs & tables are available on a first come, first served basis. Pool may not be removed from the pool area or placed in the pool. There are a limited number of loungers and chairs. You are welcome to bring your own.

2. Please clean your area of trash when you leave.

3. Report damaged furniture to the Red Fez Board.

FLOTATION DEVICES 1. An adult must accompany any non-swimmers using plastic inner tubes.

2. An adult must accompany children using swim floaties.

3. No rafts, surfboards, boats, baby pools, etc. are permitted in the pool or surrounding area.

CHILDREN AND SWIMMING ALONE 1. The State of North Carolina stresses that an adult should accompany children under 14 years of age, and that adults should not swim alone. For this reason, the Red Fez Board requires those children under age 14 be accompanied by an adult (defined as someone who is 18 years old or older).

FOOD AND DRINK 1. No glass containers are permitted in the pool area. (Broken glass in the pool would result in the pool having to being drained and the club would incur a substantial cost for this.)

2. No chewing gum is allowed in the pool.

3. No food, drink, or food wrappers are permitted within 5 feet of the .

4. The Red Fez Board members reserve the right to ask any person who is considered unruly, intoxicated, or otherwise misbehaving to leave the premises.

5. Consumption of alcohol by anyone under the age of 21 is strictly prohibited.

GUESTS 1. Guests may use the pool at a member’s invitation but must be accompanied by the member at all times. A member is considered an active Shriner in good standing with the Club, his spouse and immediate family. (Children under the age of 23 living in the home)

2. Each family is limited to a maximum of eight (8) guests.

POOL PARTIES Must be approved by the Pool Director who will have that calendar posted and kept up to date.

Your failure to comply with any of these rules will be reviewed by The Red Fez Board of Board of Directors and could lead to your suspension or expulsion from the club.
