ST GEORGE COMMUNITY FAIR PROGRAMME 26th MARCH 2011

The Community Fair will take place at St Aidan with St George Church and Church Hall Fir Tree Lane/Nags Head Hill on Saturday 26th March, running from 11.00 am – 2.00 pm. The Lord Mayor of will formally open the Fair and present prizes to the winners of the Children’s Community Art Competition organised by ‘Booze and Food’, Nags Head Hill. He will then visit the Stands and meet the Voluntary Groups and Agencies working in the Community, as represented on this Programme. Come and enjoy Home Made Cakes and other Produce, Fancy Goods, Refreshments, and fresh Fruit and Vegetables from the Bristol East Allotments Association

The organisers of the Fair wish to acknowledge the support Local Traders have given the Fair: ‘Booze and Food’ of Nags Head Hill; Marlene’s Flowers of Hillside Road; Farrows Fish and Chip Shop of Kingsway Precinct, ‘Stop Gap Cafe’ of Kingsway Precinct, Summerhill Bakery, Summerhill Road, McCoys of Kingsway Precinct, Londis at Texaco Garage, Nags Head Hill and MB Printers of Wainbrook House, Hudds Vale Road.

Children’s Hospice South West is the charity that the Community Fair is supporting in 2011. The Hospice is based at Backwell in , and more details can be found on www.chsp.org.uk

159th St Aidan’s Scout Group includes Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Meeting Wednesdays, there is a full programme of activities available, but we have a waiting list so contact us early; email [email protected] .

...to St Aidan with St George Church... a short Pram Service will be starting weekly from Thursday April 14th at 10.15am. This is for children 0-10 years and their parents/carers, followed by a cup of coffee and chance for a chat.
