Decreased monthly minimum maintenance charges will be effective with the billing period that starts on or after July 1, 2003. Overview The IBM Operational Support Services Rebate Offering, described in United States Marketing Announcement 302-168, dated August 20, 2002, and Canadian Announcement A02-1139, dated August 20, 2002, is being withdrawn effective May 8, 2003. The invoice/bill of sale dates (purchase dates) specified in this announcement supersede invoice/bill of sale dates specified in the IBM Operational Support Services Offering Rebate Request Form. If you acquired at least a one-year contract for IBM Operational Support Services with a contract start date of on or after August 20, 2002, but no later than April 7, 2003, you will be eligible to receive a rebate if you acquire a new qualifying server, or a model upgrade and/or features for the existing qualifying server, no later than twelve calendar months from the contract start date. The invoice date for the new qualifying server or model upgrade and/or features for an existing qualifying server must be no later than twelve calendar months from the contract start date, and the completed and signed rebate request form, along with requested documentation, must be received by the Redemption Center no later than June 7, 2004. An IBM Operational Support Services contract with a contract start date of on or after April 8, 2003, but no later than May 8, 2003, will be eligible for a rebate during this period only if the invoice for a new qualifying server or a model upgrade and/or features for an existing qualifying server is also dated on or after April 8, 2003, but no later than June 9, 2003. Completed and signed rebate request forms, along with requested documentation, must be received by the Redemption Center no later than August 8, 2003. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
