On 6 th September 2019, IGKO exam was conducted for Classes II to IX.

III. CELEBRATIONS

On 5 th September 2019, Agarwal Vidya Vihar celebrated Teachers' Day with full enthusiasm and acclamation. The celebration ushered in with morning assembly followed by lighting the lamp. Thereafter, Director Sir as well as Principal Madam addressed the entire school and lauded all the staff members. After that Lion's Club felicitated all the teachers of Agarwal Vidya Vihar for their exemplary contribution in Nation building. At the end, all the teachers went for movie “Mission Mangal” followed by lunch.

On 8th September 2019, Agarwal Vidya Vihar celebrated International Grand Parents Day with full jubilance and pomp. The programme ushered in by lighting the lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana. Thereafter, Shri Gokulchand Ji Bajaj, Vice President, Shri Ramesh Ji Chaudhary, Secretary of Agarwal Samaj Vidya Vihar Trust, Mrs Chhavi Ravi, Principal and Chair Person, PTA along with Shri Anand ji Gupta, Treasurer, Parents Teachers Association extended their best wishes to all the guests. Few games were also arranged for the guests where winners were given some accolades. To make the day monumental, they were felicitated with souvenir.

On 14 th September 2019, on the auspicious occasion of ‘ Diwas’ AVV welcomed Acharya Devvrat, of as Chief Guest of the day. He acknowledged the plaudit of all the four houses, Scout & Guides and NCC Cadets. The welcome ceremony started with lighting the lamp by our esteemed Chief Guest and Shri Vinod ji Goyal, President Agarwal Samaj Vidya Vihar Trust, Shri Pramod ji Chaudhary, Past President, Shri Gokulchand ji Bajaj, Vice President, Shri Subhash ji Mittal, Vice President, Shri Ramesh ji Chaudhary, Secretary and Shri Brijmohan ji Agarwal, Treasurer. Cultural Program including Classical and Folk dances and a Street Play ‘Soch Nayee, Log Wahi’, showcasing the ideology of Hon. Governor of Gujarat Acharya Devvrat ji, was presented by college students. Thereafter, our Honourable Governor of Gujarat Devvrat ji addressed the students by his remarkable speech on balancing gender ratio in society and quoted examples of great women of .

1 He encouraged the youth to preserve the cultural heritage of India and discourage foreign culture. On this significant day, he asked the students to march towards giving Hindi the status of national language. The students were left in gratitude. The program was concluded by the National Anthem.

From 14 th September 2019 to 29 th September 2019, school celebrated Hindi Pakhwada. Hindi is our Mother Tongue and National language. To make students aware of the richness of this language, every year Hindi Pakhwada is celebrated in our school. This year too, it was celebrated in our school. It started with the lightning of lamps by Principal Mam and other faculty members. During Hindi Pakhwada, Assembly was conducted in Hindi and students recited dohas, poems and delivered speech.

IV.WORKSHOPS & SEMINARS

On 3 rd September 2019 , Workshop for Class VII was conducted by CEO students wing on “ Effects of Technology". The students were made aware about good and bad effects of technology on day to day life. It was very informative and fruitful for the students. Resource persons for workshop were Mr. Paul Gamit, Mrs. Reshu khattar and Mrs. Reena Chugh.

On 17 th September 2019 , a workshop on Multiple Intelligence was conducted by Mrs. Anita kotwani, Principal, Unnati English Academy, (Member HOL GT 0073) as part of Hubs of Learning, a CBSE initiative on collaborative learning. Teachers of Sri Sri Rvishankar Vidyalaya, J.B. Diamond Institute and AVV were part of this workshop. It was a very insightful workshop.

On 24 th September 2019, Health Check-up Camp for Teachers was conducted in AVV by the team of Doctors from ‘Bombay Maternity and Surgical Hospital’, Surat. They guided teachers how to remain fit and healthy.

On 28 th September 2019, Exhibition on “Psychology” was held at Vanitavishram School. It was to bring awareness among the students for the subject psychology. Students of Classes XI and XII Humanities were escorted for the same by Mrs. Sikkha Singh and Mrs. Fatima Taylor at Vanitavishram School.

V. SPORTS

AVV was Centre for Girl’s Basketball under Khel Mahakumbh.
