RISK: THE EXHIBITION AND DISTRIBUTION OF WOMEN'S MEDIA Sponsored by Eastman Kodak Company

This panel will focus on the risks that women face when they venture into the heretofore male-dominated world of film exhibition and distribution . Whether women are organizing small-town film festivals or internationally famous ones, distributing women's media or running media-exhibition centers, they represent by their very presence an alternative to the mainstream. For women to say what they want to see, for them to say what theywant to have seen by others is to articulate an alternative to what has been traditionally available to women.
