Not only will the event manager organize and prepare the facility for you and your guests, but a quality restaurant party experience will include organization and coordination of themes, , décor, etc. way before the event so the host/hostess need only send out invitations, decorate the room and arrive with guests and enjoy! Follow these simple steps to ensure you and your guests enjoy a sensational holiday gathering:

Step 1 Determine an approximate number of guests expected to attend your holiday event. This information will be necessary for to determine space availability. Choose a few optional dates and times for your party understanding that dates and times may change depending of reservation availability at the restaurant.

Step 2 Contact your favorite restaurant (Emil’s Bistro & Marketplace – (931) 461-7070)) and inquire about date availability and options. Feel free to ask for an appointment or come by at your convenience to see the various rooms used to accommodate holiday events.

Step 3 Decide if you want , sit down table service or heavy appetizer stations for a cocktail party theme. Discuss the various menu options available with the restaurant’s event manager. You will also need to decide on beverage choices. Do you want to provide and ? Will these beverages be included or does the guest have to pay for their own? Do you want to provide a full ? Some restaurants, including Emil’s Bistro & Marketplace do not offer a full bar; however, the host may provide BYOB and we will happily provide bar setups, ice, glassware, etc. allowing guests to make their own .

Step 4 Some restaurants require room deposits. Emil’s Bistro & Marketplace does not require deposits but respectfully ask that party hosts provide appropriate estimates on guest counts and do not cancel events within 2 weeks of the scheduled party. Ask about the amount of time allowed for your dinner party. Understanding that restaurants only get paid for selling and drinks and not for providing space, many restaurants, especially during the holiday season, will book their rooms several times in one evening. If you want to reserve the room for the entire evening, please communicate this with the event manager. In some cases an additional fee may be required. Also, if you need additional resources, such as gift table, projector or screen, special music, etc. please be sure to communicate this in advance with the event manager.

Step 5 When you are satisfied with the restaurant accommodations then make your reservation for your holiday dinner party.

Step 6 Send out invitations and ask for a RSVP.

Step 7 Guarantee the number of guests to the restaurant event manager no later than 10 days before your Christmas dinner party. The restaurant needs the number of attendees so that they can order the food, schedule enough staff and set up the banquet room to accommodate the appropriate number of guests. Please understand that most restaurants, including Emil’s Bistro & Marketplace, will charge for the guaranteed number regardless of how many actually attend. Once the food is cooked and the staff on-hand, the restaurant’s expenses have already been incurred and it is only fair that this cost be passed to the booking customer.

Step 8 Arrive at your favorite restaurant (Emil’s Bistro & Marketplace) and enjoy the fruits of your planning and preparation and have a most enjoyable holiday party with co-workers, friends, family, etc.
