POWER-FOR-ALL by December 2021 Initiative

The Power-for-all 2021 iniave is an audacious plan by the Akwa Ibom State Government to ensure that, on or before December 2021, every home in the state will be connected to electricity. This is against the backdrop of the massive investments in the power sector in the last four and half years.

There are also plans by the state government to seek the approval of Federal Government to float an electricity distribuon company. The ulmate aim of the Akwa Ibom state Government is to aain the goal of 24hours electricity in the state.

Expectedly, the first term of Governor Udom Emmanuel witnessed significant change in the economic profile of Akwa Ibom State. This was largely due to the industrializaon drive of the administraon.
