North Texas was picked to finish second in the Conference USA West Division. She quickly made an impression on the North Texas Rachel Woulfe 76.0 coaching staff and became the starting libero for the 2017 Mean Green squad that went 29-4 and won the program’s only Conference USA championship. Ibarra led the 2017 team with 320 digs and ranked fourth all-time among Mean Green freshmen in the rally era (since 2001) in digs and aces. However, Ibarra suffered season-ending knee injuries prior to the start of the 2018 and 2019 seasons. Although she never appeared in a match, she remained a vocal leader in the UNT locker room in 2018 and 2019. On Jan. 22 against SMU, Ibarra will make her first appearance in a match since Dec. 1, 2017.
