TOUCAN CROSSING
The Leicestershire County Council proposes to establish in accordance with Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, a Toucan Crossing at the following location:-
A47 Uppingham Road, Bushby – between 35 and 50 metres west of the junction with Wadkins Way

The Leicestershire County Council propose to install a Toucan Crossing on the A47 Uppingham Road, Bushby close to its junction with Wadkins Way, Bushby . Please see attached drawing S278CENG.006/H1/1/1 for your information.
Works will involve constructing the Toucan crossing point across the A47 in order to create a safe crossing point for pedestrians. The scheme will also involve installation of traffic signal equipment, and associated signing/lining works.
Works are anticipated to last 3-4 weeks and will be mostly carried out during weekdays, during the off-peak period. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the duration of the works. It is inevitable that some inconvenience will be caused, but we will endeavour to keep any delays to a minimum.
