Lenten Fast and Abstinence Guidelines Schedule for Lent

1. All Catholics 14 years and older are to abstain from all Lenten Penance Services (Cancelled) meat on all Fridays of Lent, unless a particular Friday is a Thursday, March 26 - 7pm liturgical solemnity. (Several priests will be available) 2. All Catholics who are between the ages of 18-59 are obliged to fast on Good Friday. (Canon #1252) Stations of the Cross (March 27 Cancelled) 3. Fasting permits one full meal and two lesser meals, which (Bilingual—In the Church) combined are not greater than the full meal. Eating between Every Friday evening at 6pm meals is not permitted.
