Yale College Department of Music, New Haven, CT 2011 – Present Composition Teaching Fellow  Teach weekly private lessons to beginner Undergraduate composers. Guide them through composition assignments given by the primary professor of the class.

Oral History of American Music, New Haven, CT 2010 – 2011 Assistant to Research Archivist  Organizing and digitizing various transcripts and recordings of numerous interviews of 20th century composers.

Mannes College of Music Prep Division, New York, NY 2009 Substitute Teacher  Taught Classes in Composition (both in a class setting and privately) and 20th Century Music History.

Musical Theater Summer Workshop, Flushing, NY Summers of 2008, Piano Accompanist 2009, and 2010  Led individual and group rehearsals of show scenes with kids between the ages of 5 and 16.

Opera Studio Workshop at Queens College, Flushing, NY 2008 – 2009 Piano Accompanist  Worked closely with vocalists on solidifying musical and dramatic aspects of various scenes from standard operatic repertoire.

American Composer’s Alliance, New York, NY Summers of 2008, 2009 Production Assistant  Provided assistance, such as stage hand work, copying parts, making phone calls, deliveries, page turning, and playing small instrumental parts for the ACA festival at Symphony Space, which focused on premiering new music. Also, conducted the premiere of Nathan Bowen’s “Cassia” for mixed ensemble.

Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, Norfolk, CT 2011 Visiting Composer  Commissioned by the Baumgardner Fellowship to write a String Quartet, connecticut shift, which was performed by fellows at the festival.

MusicX, Blonay, Switzerland 2010 Pianist and Composer  Participated in masterclasses with Lisa Moore, Joel Hoffman, Martin Bresnick, Stephen Hartke, and .

Yale Summer School of Music: New Music Workshop, Norfolk, CT 2009 Composition Fellow  Studied with Martin Bresnick and composed Two Songs for Soprano and Mixed Ensemble set to text by Yale student poets.

California Summer Music, Pebble Beach, CA 2007 Composer  Studied with David Tcimpidis and Paul Moravec.

Tanglewood Institute of Music (BUTI), Lenox, MA 2005 Young Artist Piano Program  Studied with Maria Clodes-Jaguaribe.

NYSSMA All-State Conference, Rochester, NY 2005 String Orchestra and Composition  Chosen to play in the String Orchestra and was awarded a performance of Duo for Two Bassoons at the conference.
