The Theatre is the oldest working theater in the country (it opened in 1766) and remains the home of some of the best theater you're likely to see, ranging from contemporary shows, comedy, dance, experimental and good old classical productions. There are three areas - by Rbrwr The Theatre Royal (for big shows and pantomime), The New Vic Studio (contemporary shows, dance routines etc.), and The Basement (small- scale theater). Although only fifteen minutes away from the city center, you feel in the heart of the countryside here at this farm. The Blaise Castle House Museum is set in a beautifully restored 18th- century country house on the outskirts of the city in , one of Bristol's finest parklands. It contains a folk collection and gives a fascinating glimpse into everyday life in the past. Children in particular enjoy visiting as a lot of the exhibits are geared towards them. You'll find some traditional board games, but it's primarily about playing table-top battles and games enthusiast by Jilted Ballerina flock here from miles around. Players use armies consisting of painted scale models, first you buy the miniatures and assemble them and then paint and arrange them into their own particular regiments. There are a huge variety of troop types to choose from such as Reiksguard knights, Chaos warriors, Dragon Princes plus many more. During the week the shop hosts themed events where customers are invited to join in. Even if you hate games, call in, it's a great example of British eccentricity!

Avon Valley Steam Railway "Journey Back to the Age of Steam"
