In the Spring the island is carpeted with wild garlic, hyacinths and wood anemones, and in summer the undergrowth grows densely. The island is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI). Creinch Island is located in the Southern area of Loch Lomond with the village of Balmaha to the east, providing the easiest point of access from the mainland to the island. The island offers the opportunity to acquire a natural oasis in this world famous location. The Island has no residential dwelling on it and no services.
