Royal Enfield Wins Two Awards in Thailand Receives Best Touring Light Weight award for Himalayan and Best Modern Classic Middle Weight award for Interceptor

Bangkok, March 6, 2020 - , the world’s oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production and the global leader in mid-sized segment, recently won 2 best motorcycle awards which include “Best Touring Light Weight” award for Royal Enfield Himalayan and “Best Modern Classic Middle Weight” award second time in a row for Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, in an annual “Thailand Bike of The Year 2020” event organized by Grand Prix Group.

The result has been decided by independent Thai committees who specialize in motorcycles from the theoretical judging criteria such as capability, safety, special technology and environmental concern, and the practical criteria such as handling, break, suspension, acceleration, slalom as well as the refinement of the motorcycle. The Royal Enfield Interceptor is on an awards winning spree across the APAC region. Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is an entirely new 648-cc twin-cylinder motorcycle which is motorcycles from the ground up, developed jointly by Royal Enfield's development teams located both in and at its state-of-the-art technical centre in the UK. Royal Enfield Himalaya is a new Euro IV 411-cc single-cylinder motorcycle recognized as the most utilized Royal Enfield motorcycle.
