(AP) — Authorities have concluded their investigation into the dog mauling death of a 14-year- old Massachusetts boy without bringing criminal charges. The Bristol district attorney’s office said in a statement Friday that the death of Ryan Hazel, of Rehoboth, on May 9 was “sadly a terrible tragedy.” Ryan was killed by five dogs he regularly cared for on the property of a dog trainer in Dighton. The office says the cause of the attack is not known and likely never will be known. Officials say “no evidence points to Ryan’s actions or con- duct contributing at all” to his death. The four Belgian Malinois and a Dutch shepherd were all subsequently euthanized on May 23. The dogs’ owner cooperated with investigators. The dogs were not properly licensed but were vaccinated.

2 arrested in connection to Boston courthouse stabbing BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts State Police say they have arrested two men in connection with a brazen stabbing inside a Boston courthouse. Police say 23-year-old Jeffrey Toney and 18-year-old Jerrell Greene-Martin, both of Boston, were arrested Wednesday and arraigned Thursday. Greene-Martin was held on $25,000 bail after pleading not guilty to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, while Toney was held on $7,500 bail after pleading not guilty to assault and battery. Investigators say the stabbing in a common area stemmed from a possibly gang-related altercation inside the Suffolk Superior Court building on Jan. 2 between two groups. The 22-year-old victim was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital and survived. The suspects immediately fled. It could not immediately be determined who represented the suspects in court. Your mind often drifts to this person. Consider making plans in the near future to get together. To- night: Where your friends are. LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) HHHH You can relate well on a one-on- one level. Understand what is happening with a loved one you care a lot about. Do not interfere or give your opinions. The un- expected occurs when dealing with a boss or higher-up. Tonight: Go along with a re- quest. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) B.C. Mastroianni and Hart HHHH A partner has special plans that he or she might not share with you. This person would prefer to surprise you. In either case, be smart and play it passive. Allow the other party to have his or her way. News from a distance heads your way. Tonight: Share your news. LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) HHHH Allow an associate to demonstrate his or her loyalty and sensitivity. This per- son might choose a manner that does not impress you. Be gracious. It is the thought that counts. One-on-one relating builds an even stronger tie. Tonight: Say yes to an of- fer. ONE BIG HAPPY Rick Detorie SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) HHHHH Your creativity comes forward and delights you to no end. How you man- age a problem for a child or loved one dem- onstrates how very caring you can be. Do not sit back. Be proactive whether making a gesture or designing plans. Tonight: Add some spice to your interactions. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) HHHHH You have your unique style and way of handling life. A family member would like you to spend more time with him or her, especially at home. You might find the next few days perfect for digging into a project at home. Tonight: Order in. ANDY CAPP Mahoney, Goldsmith and Garnett CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) HHHH Reach out to a sibling or a neigh- bor. You often share news with this person that sometimes turns out to be gossip. Your willingness to open up and chat away with this person marks your bond. Tonight: Ex- pect the unexpected. AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) HHH You might be more concerned with your finances than you need to be. A sense of discomfort surrounds how you deal with a family member or a matter involving your home. Steer clear of major decisions. To- Cryptoquip night: Do not blow your budget. PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) ZACK HILL John Deering and John Newcombe HHHHH You beam and others notice. You could find that someone who might be nearly a stranger walks up to you to speak to you or get to know you better. Do not even think you have any control here. Just be open, unless you have your eye on one special person. Tonight: At a favorite spot.
