ACCOMODATIONS: The Len Foote Hike Inn at Amicalola Falls State Park is one of the newest and most unique of Georgia's state park facilities. If you enjoy wilderness but prefer a soft bed, hot showers, and great food instead of camping, the Hike Inn is for you. The Inn is accessible only by foot over a moderate 5 mile hiking trail which originates at the top of the Amicalola Falls. Facilities include: 20 guest rooms with linens, blankets and pillows, men and women’s facilities with showers, sinks, mirrors and fresh towels

ARRIVAL: We will all be meeting at 11:30 noon at Amicalola Falls State Park on July 7th. Once you arrive, you will need to check in at the visitor center where they will check your name off of the Len Foote Hiker list and PRE-TRIP DETAILS

give you a parking pass. All state parks require a $5 parking pass fee. After checking in please make your way up the road (up the mountain) to the Len Foote Hike Inn trail head parking lot. We will have a few GC signs displayed so look for those so you know you’re in the right place and we will welcome you at the top.
