Refund Policy 1. The Crete Park District reserves the right to cancel any program/trip which fails to meet the required minimum participation level. Full refunds will be given in such instances. 2. Refunds will be granted if a request is made 1 week in advance of the start of the class/program. This excludes trips, craft classes, and other contractual programs in which refunds will be granted only if a substitute is found. 3. No refunds will be given after the class/program begins. The only exception is an injury which prohibits participation in the class or program. A written doctor’s excuse is required for this type of cancellation, and the refund is subject to proration. 4. $5 service charge will be assessed on all refunds applicable to items #2 & #3 above. No refunds will be given upon completion of the class/program or any deposit. Parkour for Preschoolers (Age 3-5) Parkour is widely accepted as a method of training for the safest, quickest, and most efficient routing from one point to another. Participants will train in order to be as fluid, functional and liberated as possible in physical movement and to overcome physical obstacles. Our program will focus on specific elements of obstacle course training. Our younger classes are developed to safely get children moving and exploring the very new world around them, to inherently build confidence in each step and define their most formative years with a strong base of control. Our classes will consist of two major components: conditioning and drilling which include climbing, jumping, and vaulting while maintaining a fun and challenging atmosphere.

Shelter Rental Instead of spending the money to rent a tent and planning all the entertainment, come to the park! Two shelters are available in Crete Park, 515 First Street and two shelters are also available at Heritage Park, 1550 Sangamon Street. Alcohol is not allowed in the park areas. All fees are nonrefundable. (The playgrounds are not part of any rental. These are public parks and will be used by the public during your rental.) Field Rental This field rental is just for fun and must be combined with a shelter rental. It doesn’t include lining, lights or base rental and fee is for a 2 hour block. (Special arrange- ments must be made if you need a formal field set.) Renter must provide nets/bases unless otherwise arranged with the District. For team sport field rentals and tournament rentals, contact Andy Biesterfeld at (708)672-6996. We want to keep our fields in great condition for everyone, therefore, in case of inclement weather, Crete Park Dis- trict Maintenance Department will have the final judg- ment call on field playability.

Historic Bandstand Rental If you’re looking for a small romantic place to hold your wedding, you should come see one of Crete’s Historic Landmarks. The Bandstand, located in Crete Park, was built in 1913 and is surrounded by beautiful oak trees. Park Center The Willard Wood Park Center is located at 515 1st St in Crete. The log cabin building sits on the Southeast corner of the six acre Crete Park. East- erday Hall, located in the Willard Wood Park Center, is a charming ven- ue for your club, family, friends, or associates to gather. It’s the perfect location for your business meetings, family gatherings, showers or parties. The hall is fully accessible, offers a kitchen, and tables and chairs for your convenience. A fireplace and/or alcohol permit can be purchased for an additional fee. (See Rental Fees below) Call the Crete Park District at (708) 672-6969 or stop by to see if your date is still open. To guarantee your rental, you must stop by the building, complete a rental form and pay a $150 SECURITY DEPOSIT. This security deposit is re- quired to hold your day on the calendar. This deposit is nonrefundable in Easterday Hall case of a cancellation.
