U DX26/1 Volume: Howden Coroner's Ms Inquests 17 Jul 1793- Small, leather hardbound volume containing a 26 Feb 1809 manuscript record of inquisitions taken by Robert Spofforth the younger as the Coroner of the Liberty of Howden and Howdenshire. The first pages contain a transcription of the oath taken by the Coroner upon assuming office. Note that an inquest involved an investigation by jurers appointed by the Coronor, viewing of the body by the Coronor, and the presentation of findings and opinions of both leading to a verdict on cause of death.

U DX26/2 Workhouse Account Book: United Parishes of 1820-1833 Paull, Thorngumbold, Ryehill and Keyingham Small, hardbound volume containing accounts relating to the workhouse for the united parishes of Paull, Thorngumbold, Ryehill and Keyingham. The first part of the volume contains accounts relating to expenses incurred by the various parishes in relation to the workhouse in the period 27 Mar 1820-4 Aug 1825. The second part of the volume contains an account of Mr Ambler of the poor, county, highways and church rates levied on each of the individual parishes in the period 1825- 1833. The third part of the volume contains accounts of boarders in the workhouse showing names, ages and numbers of days spent in residence. 1 volume

U DX26/3 Workhouse Account Book: United Parishes of 1824-1833 Paull, Thorngumbold, Ryehill and Keyingham Small, parchment hardbound volume containing accounts relating to the workhouse for the united parishes of Paull, Thorngumbold, Ryehill and Keyingham. The first half of the volume contains accounts of the rates levied on each of the individual parishes for maintenance of the workhouse covering the period 27 Mar 1824-30 Mar 1833. The second half of the volume contains accounts of boarders in the workhouse showing names and numbers of days spent in residence covering the period 22 Oct 1925-15 Apr 1833. 1 volume
