Getting there by Car The car park at the port holds 350 cars. It is controlled by NCPS and parking is pay and display. Payment must be paid before departure by ticket machines in car parks (coin, note and credit card machines available) or you can pay via www.parkbytext.ie using location code 0822.

Foot passengers travelling with pets: Foot passengers may bring small pets in a pet traveller's case, but they will be placed on the car deck for the duration of the journey, as no animals are permitted in the passenger areas onboard.

Guide, hearing, autism and other types of registered assistance dogs are welcome in the Passenger Lounge at both the port and onboard all of our vessels.

Directions From the West (/ Waterford) follow the N25 which stretches from Cork all the way to the port. From the North (Dublin) follow the N11 as far as the roundabout and from there join the N25 to the port.

Check-in Times

Accompanied Units: 40 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Unaccompanied Units: 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Hazardous Unaccompanied: 120 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Hazardous Accompanied: 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

When carrying horses and equine please check in 1 hour before the sailing.

Parking

Storage facilities Vehicles can normally be left on the quayside for up to 48 hours. However, vehicles that are on hand longer than this period may be subject to standage charges. Vehicles not intended for shipment are not permitted in the port.

Demurrage/Standage charges Charges for trailers or other equipment that remains on the quayside for a prolonged period of time may be charged parking/standage charges.
