3 Magdalen Catholic School Middle School Choir Performs and Wins at Heartland Music Festival in OK City Congratulations to the middle school choir for competing in Oklahoma City at the Heartland Music Fest on Saturday. They received a superior rating along with the other top choirs and bands in the competition. Magdalen was one of the few choirs to also receive the outstanding musicianship trophy for their high scores. Finally, Magdalen was awarded the judges’ choice trophy which is given to the top choir in the competition, beating out over 1000 other students. Congratulations to Jackson Bezdek and Katie Ha who were awarded trophies by the judges for their outstanding solos! Thank you to Magdalen music teacher and choir director, Mr. Chad Ingram, for leading this amazing choir.
