1. The USGA Rules of Golf, including Rule 6-1, which provides that each player is responsible for knowing the conditions under which the competition is to be played, will govern all competition, except for local rules of play and those regarding the Scramble format.

2. On every hole, each member of the team may hit a tee shot. The team then selects COURSE MAP one of the tee shots from which to play. All members of the team may then hit from that position. This procedure is repeated until the ball is holed.

3. Each team member may place his or her ball within one club-length of the selected shot, no nearer the hole. If the selected shot is played from a hazard, bunker, rough, second cut of rough, fairway or fringe of the green, the ball must be placed within one club-length of the selected shot, no nearer the hole, but it must remain in the hazard, bunker, rough, second cut of rough, fairway or fringe of the green.

4. Each team member may improve his or her lie by placing the ball or by moving it with his or her club head. The ball is in play when the player addresses it or, if they do not address it, when they make their next stroke at it.

5. When putting, the ball must be placed within one putter head length of the selected shot, no nearer the hole. Teams are cautioned not to make tap-ins until all members have had the opportunity to make the team’s original putt. Once the ball is holed out, no further strokes are permitted.

6. Team members may stand behind one another (on an extension of the line of play) while they are hitting a shot or putt.

7. Methods for breaking ties have been determined in advance. In the event of a tie at a score level, all score cards with that score shall be submitted to the resident golf pro. The pro will then make a determination of order of finish by referring to the card and evaluating the scores by comparing the scores of the most difficult handicap hole and repeating the process until a winner is determined.

8. Hole #6 is designated as a hole-in-one hole with the first hole-in-one shot at tee #6 winning a $1,000 shopping spree donated by Hilltop Consignment Gallery. Hole #13 is designated as a hole-in-one hole with the first hole-in-one shot at tee #13 winning a 1K diamond donated by Capitol Craftsman & Romance Jewelers. Hole #17 is designated as a hole-in-one hole with the first hole-in-one shot at tee #17 winning a $1,000 shopping spree donated by Viking House. The rules governing these holes and the awarding of prizes will be determined by the Chamber Golf Tournament Committee and the resident golf pro at Beaver Meadow Golf Course. Mulligans cannot be used to win hole-in-one prizes.

9. Within the Golfer Kit, each player receives one (1) mulligan to be used at that player’s discretion at any time during the tournament. Mulligans cannot be used to win hole- in-one prizes.

10. Each player may participate in a putting contest conducted on the practice green for a chance to win a prize. Each player has three chances.

11. No retrieving lost golf balls.

12. Each team must use at least one drive from each team member. Thank you to the 2020 Golf Committee:
