EXPLANATION AND PRACTICE OF THE IMMORTAL DAKINI MANDARAVA led by Nina Robinson Yeselling, April, 29 – May 3, 2020
Long life practices are especially important to co-ordinate and strengthen our energy, which result in a longer and more harmonious life. “The practice of Mandarava is a path for having total realization and also relatively for having a longer life and prosperity. But the main point is to attain realization of the state of Mandarava. Mandarava is a totally realized being and so we follow this path.”
This practice is a discovered Terma of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu which He received during a series of dreams in the Maratika cave, Nepal and other locations.
We will also apply some of the Tsalung practices of Mandarava. “The Sogthig breathing is related to the main practice of Mandarava. Sogthig means something like the very essence of the life force: sog means vitality and thig is the short form of thigle. So it means it is one of the most essential breathing practices." We will also be incorporating chudlen (voluntary!) into this retreat.
Nina Robinson was born in England in 1937. She met Chögyal Namkhai Norbu in 1980 and followed many of His teaching and practice retreats from that time on until the present day. She is authorized by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu to teach Mandarva and has led various retreats in many parts of the world.
In order to be able to participate in this retreat you need to have received the transmission of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
