Tuesday, August 23rd Day 1 Anchorage, AK Depart from select Maritime cities (Charlottetown, Halifax, Moncton, or Fredericton) on your flight to Anchorage, AK. We arrive in Anchorage and meet our coach driver to transfer to our host hotel to check in. Rest of the evening is free to explore.

Wednesday, August 24th Day 2 Tour Anchorage Enjoy complimentary breakfast and meet your Tour Director. Today we will have an Anchorage City Tour. Anchorage’s development began in 1915, when Congress authorized construction of the only federally owned railroad in the nation’s history. It would run from tidewater to ’s Interior, passing the coal deposits of the Matanuska Valley. Construction headquarters was at the mouth of Ship Creek in present-day Anchorage. Overnight, a tent city sprang up as thousands of laborers flocked north to take advantage of the lucrative employment opportunities. You can see Anchorage's first house, built in 1915, at 420 M Street, and one of its first concrete buildings at 4th and G–still owned by the family that built it. Tonight, join your Tour Director and fellow travellers this evening for a Group Dinner and an evening of food, fun and laughter.

Friday, August 26th Day 4 Board the Celebrity Millenium Enjoy complimentary breakfast and meet your Tour Director. Today we check out and transfer to Seward to board the Celebrity Millennium. Edging the Kenai Peninsula and framed by the glacier-covered Kenai Mountains that run along its southeastern spine, Seward is a rustic port town whose grand terrain will leave you breathless. Once onboard, feel free to enjoy the amenities of the ship.

Saturday, August 27th Day 5 The Hubbard Glacier is located about 30 miles north off the coast of Yakutat and is by far one of Alaska’s most exciting natural treasures. On your cruise to Hubbard Glacier, enjoy incredible picture-perfect views of this glorious mount of ice from about every angle on your ship. Named after Gardiner Hubbard, the founder and president of the National Geographic Society, Hubbard Glacier is the longest tidewater glacier in the world. Dramatically massive at about 7-miles wide, 76-miles long and as tall as a 30-story building above the waterline, it’s the largest river of ice in North America. How this magnificent block came to form begins about 400 years ago from the snowfalls on the slopes of Mount Logan. While most of the world’s glaciers are retreating, the Hubbard Glacier has continued to thicken over the years and on rare occasion will partially block , temporarily damming its passage.

Sunday, August 28th Day 6 Juneau, AK (9 am to 9 pm) You can’t get to Juneau easily without a sprint by air or by sea. But once you arrive you’ll find majestic views and rich culture in every corner. With its snowcapped mountains, misty rainforests, massive glaciers and bounty of wildlife, Alaska’s remote state capital is the perfect place to dive into nature. Framed by Mount Juneau and Mount Roberts, the city’s picturesque downtown area offers centuries-old bars, boutique shops and historic landmarks. For a taste of the local culture, visit the historic district and the Alaska State Museum. And for outdoor thrills, you can take your pick of activities ranging from whale watching in Auke Bay Harbor to tundra trekking over , and even try your hand at gold panning in Last Chance Basin.

Monday, August 29th Day 7 Skagway, AK (7 am to 8:30 pm) The tiny town of Skagway still looks like it did during the Klondike Gold Rush over 100 years ago— and today it remains an outpost for thrilling Alaskan adventure. An old- time street car ride along bustling Broadway Street reveals well-preserved buildings, including the state’s oldest hotel. You can see engraved walrus tusks at the Corrington Museum, or get lost in riveting historical reenactments around town. If outdoor adventure is more your thing, there are plenty of ways to amp up the adrenaline, from sledding with Alaskan Huskies on Laughton Glacier to rafting Lynn Canal, the longest fjord in North America.

Tuesday, August 30th Day 8 Icy Strait Point (6:30 am to 3 pm) For thousands of years, the Tlingit Indians have called this place home. Located near the city of Hoonah, and home to a historic cannery, Icy Strait Point also offers travelers the chance to view wildlife like humpback whales, orcas, seals, eagles, and brown bears, or to explore monuments to the region's fishing heritage.

Wednesday, August 31st Day 9 Ketchikan, AK (9 am to 6 pm) Ketchikan sits at the southern end of Alaska’s Inside Passage— a gateway to the wild landscapes and seascapes of Misty Fjords National Monument. The canned salmon capital of the world, it’s a hub for fishing and outdoor sports. It’s also home to three tribes of Northwest Coast Indians, making it a great place to get a taste for the local culture. You’ll see it in the colourful, hand-carved totems that line the city’s streets and parks, and in the unique stilted homes that cling to Deer Mountain’s slopes. If you want to get up close and personal with nature, venture into the , the largest in the United States. Or head to Ketchikan Creek Waterfall for amazing views of downtown Ketchikan and a glimpse at the yearly salmon runs.

Thursday, September 1st Day 10 Cruise the Inside Passage Your ship offers the perfect platform for viewing British Columbia’s Inside Passage. Anchorage Optional Excursion August 25th $399 CDN PRINCE WILLIAM SOUND, located at the northernmost point of the Gulf of Alaska is dramatically nestled against the rugged Chugach Mountain Range. This breath-taking Sound is filled with deep fjords, tidewater glaciers and hundreds of islands with countless numbers of sea birds and marine life. During the month of June, the midnight sun brings nearly 20 hours of daylight. Spring & Summer signal the arrival of baby sea otters and harbor seals, transit pods of humpback and orca whales seeking the nutrient-rich waters of Prince William Sound. Migratory birds arrive just in time to hatch their young while the Steller sea lions return to their rookeries to have their pups. The Sound is home to 200 species of birdlife, including an abundance of breeding bald eagles. Sighting of black and brown bears, mountain goats and Sitka black-tailed deer on the shores of outer islands is common. A Service Ranger will share stories about the wildlife, history, geography, and glaciers during this spectacular cruise of Prince William Sound, home to approximately 150 glaciers, 17 of them in tidewater.
