Kroger Fundraising Cards

Earning money for your gymnast’s account through purchases is easy. Kroger provides our club gift cards which can be “reloaded” right at the Kroger cashier prior to checking out with your groceries. To receive a gift card, simply include an order for a $25 Kroger’s card on a current Scrip order form (just like any other retailer). We will then give you a Kroger gift card pre-loaded with $25. Order more than one card if you like. If you distribute to cards your family and friends, then their groceries are contributing to your gymnast too.

CGA-PC gets 4% of the purchases which is distributed like all other scrip proceeds to the individual and the general funds. These purchases also apply toward points like the other gift card purchases from CGA-PC.

Each Kroger Gift card purchased through CGA Parents Club is numbered. Those numbers are assigned to your preferred gymnast upon initial purchase. The club gets monthly card activity data from Kroger. We include those reload purchase totals with other Gift Card purchases for each gymnast.

• These cards must be purchased through CGA Parents Club; they cannot be purchased at Kroger. • The cards may be reloaded at any Kroger register for any amount up to $250.00. • You must reload as a separate transaction prior to ringing up your groceries. • While CGA-PC only accepts checks for the initial card purchase, you may pay with cash, check or major credit card when reloading it at Kroger. • If the gift card is reloaded within the grocery order, it cannot be used to pay for the groceries. • If a purchase totals more than there is left on the gift card, additional money can be added to the card at another register, or at the Customer Service Desk before paying for the groceries. • Depleted cards (zero balance) are deleted from the Kroger system after 90 days. At that point, the card cannot be reloaded. Since this card’s number is what identifies its’ purchases to you, it is important that you keep this card (it is more convenient too). Just keep a small balance on the card and reload the card the next time you want to make a purchase. The cards will have a sticker identifying it as a fundraiser. This may help both you and the cashier to remember not to throw it away if it is depleted. • If a card is depleted (oops… 90 days go by since you last used it and there is no balance remaining), a new card will need to be purchased through CGA-PC. Remember you can have more than one card associated to your gymnast. • Any merchandise in a Kroger store can be purchased with a gift card, with the exception of fuel and services. Services include: money orders, Western Union, lottery tickets and Ticket Master. • The gift card is accepted in all Kroger affiliated stores throughout the US. o These include Kroger, , , Fry’s and Fry’s Marketplace, , DiVans, Smith’s Food & Drug, City Market, QFG, , Owen’s, FoodsCo, Hilander, Pay-Less Foods, Gala-Bell, Bakers’ Foods, JayC, , Littman & Barclay Jewelers • There are three ways to find the balance on a Kroger gift card. o After a purchase, the balance will be printed on the bottom of your cash register receipt. o You may also visit www.ucbalance.com o You can call 1 -866-822-6252.
