Experience the iconic Tour de in the beautiful

French 13-17 July 2021 from £695pp

Come and be part of the 108th classic in 2021 with us at LovethePyrenees. We have designed a special 5 day cycle trip to share this experience with other passionate TdF watchers & cyclists. This trip is designed for you to experience the TdF, cycle some of the infamous cols and watch some of the stages. The cycling will be challenging and well supported, tackling mystical Cols like the Aspin, Hourquette, Portet, Azet, Aubisque and the Tourmalet. We’ll also be working out routes to find the best spots to watch the action up close and personal.

Cycling and stage watching? Below is a suggested itinerary that is subject to change due to timings of the Tour and road closures. Tuesday 13 July – Pick up from and transfer to chalet accommodation in the heart of the Pyrenees - Le Hameau de Campan. An easy 40k local spin to warm the legs up, this includes a local col des Palomieres with spectacular mountain peak views of the Pic du Midi.

Wednesday 14 July – Cycle over the Col D’Aspin to quaint spa town St Lary to watch stage 17 up close with a mountain stage finish on the Col du Portet. Portet being a favourite

Web: www.lovethepyrenees.com Email: [email protected] #lovethepyrenees - @hameaudecampan due it’s rustic nature (no one 1km gradient is the same)! And amazing views of the Neovielle valley.

Thursday 15 July – Head over the infamous Tourmalet to the Argeles Valley to watch the action unfold on mountain stage 18 on the Luz Ardiden. Time to experience the switchbacks on the Ardiden like the pros.

Friday 16 July – Tackle the Hourquette d’Ancizan then from St Lary take on the mystical Cap de Lac de Long finishing on the Col d’Aspin from the Arreau valley with stunning views across the mountain range.

Saturday 17 July – Short valley ride 40km to ease the legs and smiles after memories are created. Pack up and transfer to the airport

Lots of walks from the doorstep. There is a swimming pool and a spa in the local town Bagneres de Bigorre. Damian will be driving the van around also so you can still catch the action just without the pedalling ☺

There are a couple of things we think important during this trip:

• We take care of each other on and off the bike • We leave together and we come back together
