ORGANIZED BY

O. P. JINDAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Knowledge Park, Punjipathra, -496109 (C.G.),

IN ASSOCIATION WITH PREAMBLE Economic growth the world over, to a large extent, revolves around the adaptation of technology, Infrastructure development is stepping stone for this purpose. In this respect steel, electrical power and construction sectors become useful indices. Though the activities in each of these sectors are being pursued in every nation in one form or the other, yet the progress is not the same everywhere. One of the reasons for this appears to be adoption of the state-of-art technology.

The advancements in technology are taking place at an amazing pace. It is for a particular nation to accept and adopt the existing technology of make advances by research and innovation to discover emerging areas of technology. Driven by international scenario and a buoyant domestic market condition, India is poised to make a quantum jump towards in iron and steel making, electricity production and construction activities by modernizing the existing facilities and also developing the state-of-art technologies. This is a challenging task which is going to be addressed universally by analyzing and understanding its intricacy with the help of collective cross fertilization of ideas and information sharing.

AIMS & OBJECTIVE The Conference aims at bringing together academicians, researchers, industrialists and other stake holders across the world on a common platform to present their findings related to research and development in the areas of steel, power and construction technologies. The objective is to help the participants to redefine their goals, if necessary, in order to meet the challenges and to discover new horizons of research and development .The Conference would focus on the recent advancements as well as future outlook in steel, power and construction technology. It will provide an opportunity to the participants to interact with the experts of these areas who will be developing the keynote address and joining the panel discussions during the Conference.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES It is expected that the Conference will enhance the level of knowledge and information of the participants.
