A FRENCH SIDEARM. A French 19th C Artillery Mans brass hilted sidearm, in the Gladius style. Marked Talasott 1832 under a Crown 2 above C, with Paris below. Numbered 713 on the guard, with 19" double-edged blade.

MINIATURE NAVAL SWORD. An old child's Naval sword in the officers 19thC style, possibly made for a serving sailors son. 24" overall 3 length, with good detail in the hilt etc.

UNIFORM ITEMS OF AN OFFICER R C O SIGNALS. Two trunks containing uniforms and equipment of a Captain in the 61st Royal 4 Signal Corps. Including Service and Mess Dress, Hats and Caps, Jungle Fatigues and Camouflage Smock etc. Water Bottles, Binoculars and Gas Mask and other equipment.

A KATANA. A Japanese Katana in embossed mounts with Tokugawa mon decoration. 26.1/2" blade with gilt habaki, with cats scratch 5 decoration.

FLINTLOCK-PERCUSSION GUN PARTS. Some lockplates including Twigg and Wogdon named examples, cocks and frizzens etc. For 6 use as gun replacement parts, mostly modern castings as yet unmachined.

A FLINTLOCK PISTOL. A Gentlemans Holster pistol with Haper engraved on both barrel and lockplate. The octagonal round 9.3/4" 7 barrel has illegible proof marks above the brass lockplate. Brass furniture with underslung ramrod, with the escutcheon plate missing in the butt. 16" overall length.

A PERCUSSION SPORTING GUN. A 19thC Percussion fowling or sporting piece, with half stock and underslung wooden ramrod. 8 Octagonal round 32" barrel, steel furniture and silvered mounts. Chequered grip with an overall length of 48.1/4" .

A PERCUSSION SPORTING PIECE. A percussion sporting or fowling piece, with octagonal/round 30" barrel. Steel furniture, no visible 9 naming or proof marks. Some rust evident on the action etc.

A CONVERTED PERCUSSION PISTOL. A Military percussion with swivel steel ramrod and brass furniture. The action was originally for 10 a flintlock, with a barrel and nipple conversion. Octagonal 8" barrel with faint proof mark.

A JAMBIYA DAGGER. A silver mounted, horn hilted jambiya dagger, in need of renovation/restoration. 19thC with detached 7" curved 11 double-edged blade, with tang loose from the hilt. Silver wrapped scabbard with decorative designs, Omani in style. A NORTH AFRICAN SWORD & SCABBARD. A watchmans style silver wrapped sword, complete with matching scabbard. A GENTLEMANS SWORD. A silver? hilted gentlemans smallsword, in partial condition with intricate designs overall. No visible 13 hallmarks, with triangular 27" hollow ground blade.

A KUKRI. A Kukri with silvered mounts and 12" blade, the tip has a chip approx 1/4" long. Wooden hilt and scabbard, the latter with 14 leather and decorative silver wrapped designs.

15 A PAIR OF IRON SPURS. A pair of iron fret worked spurs with turning rowel barbs, with some decoration evident.

CARVED WOODEN SPEAR BLADES. Southern hemisphere carved wooden paddle blades, with voided design of intricate patterns. 16 Chequered decoration and an overall length of 31.1/2".

A DOUBLE BARREL PERCUSSION HUNTING RIFLE 'ARABISED'. A double barrel percussion hunting rifle which has been altered by 17 an Arab craftsman for his usage. European style locks, barrels and hammers, steel wrapped mounts and carved amended stock. 37" barrels with underslung ramrod, 53" overall length.

A MILITARY MORSE CODE/LAMP SET. Steel cased with khaki covering signalling lamp-morse code transmitter set. WW11 period 18 lacking a battery, with carry strap affixed.

A NATIVE CEREMONIAL CLUB. A native hardwood ceremonial club of some 38" in overall length. Of a sword shape with flared 19 pommel, broad centre blade tapering to a point.

20 A 1913 PATTERN BAYONET. A Pattern 1913 Remington Bayonet, complete with scabbard, various military markings to blade and hilt.

A K98 BAYONET MODEL 1934. A German WW11 period K98 bayonet with modification and the date 41ASW on the blade, Berg & Co 21 on the steel scabbard. The top button fixing is for a rifle that cannot be found as specified, as yet.

AN 1858 PATTERN BAYONET, An unmarked 1858 short rifle pattern sword bayonet with yatagan blade, with no visible markings. Steel 22 and leather scabbard in good order.

A THROWING CLUB. A hardwood Aboriginal throwing club or stick. Plain shaft tapering out to a fluted form, with some carved designs. 23 Late 19th early 20thC style with overall length of 30.1/4".

A CEREMONIAL CLUB. A native hardwood ceremonial spear club, with tip in narrow leaf form 24.3/4" in length. Decorated with swirl 24 and geometric patterns, 57.3/4" overall length. (Worm damage in places)

AN ARTILLERY 19thC SIDEARM. A brass hilted double edged artillery sidearm, with twin full length fullers on the 19.3/4" blade. (The 25 very tip has an approximate 1/4" missing). A GT WAR CASED HELIOGRAPH. Brown leather cased Heliograph Mk V set by W Swart dated 1917. Broad arrow marked case with 47 8867 number, the main frame marked Helio.5" MkV, Muirhead & Co Ltd number 10722 1916. Some fittings are in the case, including cased mirrors and mounts.

A NORTH AFRICAN POWDER FLASK. A leather covered Bee Hive or conical shaped Morrocan powder flask. Twin ears for carry 59 straps and 11.1/2" high with width of 10.1/2" at its widest. The conical height of 5", with overall decoration.

A NATIVE KRIS. A 19thC Kris with Garuda bird hilt and watered wavy-edge blade of 13.3/4", loose in the hilt. Wooden scabbard, some 60 loss of the tip is evident.

A GENTLEMANS SMALLSWORD. An all steel Gentlemans Smallsword, with triangular tapering 31" blade, in the rapier style. Steel hilt 64 and ornate guard with intricate decoration to all the fittings, lacking a scabbard.

FOUR SWORDS. Two fencing foils with 36.1/2" tipped blades, steel cup guards. Two masonic/court swords one with bound hilt and 65 brass crossguard, the other with a brass facetted grip and brass guard. 28" & 27" blades respectively.

A KHANJAR DAGGER An 18th/19thC Indo-Persian Khanjar dagger with Ivory Hilt and Koftgari decoration to the steel mounts. Dual 72 wide fullered blade of 8.1/4" length, lightly fluted with a spearpoint tip. Lacking its scabbard, with an overall length of 12.3/4". See Illustration A JAMBIYA DAGGER. A silver mounted Moroccan Jambiya dagger of the early 20thC. Carved wooden grip with brass and silver 73 decorated mounts, swept 8.1/4" blade. A 19thC HALBERD. A 19thC ceremonial halberd with scimitar shaped decorative 24" blade, with split spike on the spine. Octagonal 76 wooden studded shaft with an overall length of 92.1/2".

A TARGONE SHIELD. A wodden Targone shield, used during the Pisan Bridge Tournament. 32.1/2" overall length, finished with moon 77 and swirls patterns. Label reads Targone Shield, Gioco Del Ponte, Venise, Bridge. (Ex Col Harvey) Collection.

A 1912 PATTERN OFFICERS SWORD. A 1912 pattern Cavalry Officers sword with plated scabbard. Made by Wilkinson Sword and 78 numbered 64565, owned by the 8th Duke of Leinster with K on the blade. Clean blade and very little deterioration in the inner of the hilt, gold and red sword knot attached.

A KATANA IN SIRA SAYA MOUNT. A Katana blade signed Kane-Fusa with 25.1/2" blade, in the Mino-Den style. Complete with NBTHK 79 Kantaisho or Shinsa paper, confirming the signature as authentic. In good polish with a chip evident towards the tip.

AN TRIBESMANS FLINTLOCK LONG GUN. A Flintlock North African tribesmans rifle as found. Elephant and warranted on the lock, 80 proof marks on the barrel of 51.3/4". Steel furniture the ramrod mounts need repair or replacement. With its stock loose it is lacking a ramrod and no cocking spring evident. 68 ...[more]

A LEATHER GUN CASE & LEG OF MUTTON CASES. A brown leather shotgun case, lacking its entire innards. The name on the top is 81 Duque de Alba. Madrid. 375. 31" x 8.1/2" x 4" overall measurements. Two Leg of Mutton Gun Cases, just under 30" overall length each, one lacking its inner divider.

A FLINTLOCK TRADE MUSKET. A two band Flintlock Musket with octagonal 29.1/2" barrel, brass furniture and steel ramrod. 45.3/4" 82 overall length.

A PERCUSSION SHOTGUN. A double-barrelled Percussion shotgun, with Manton London on the lockplates. One hammer is the 83 original dolphin pattern, the other is a replacement. Browntwist finish 27.1/4" barrels with underslung ramrod present, steel furniture and some engraving evident.

A SILVER MOUNTED R IRISH RIFLES STICK. The shaft of a hard black composite material, the ornate silver mounts hallmarked for 100 Birmingham 1898. Foilage and R Irish Rifles badge, with partial inscription of presentation details discernible. 31.1/2" in length, damage to the base of stick.

A GERMAN WW11 FIELD COMPASS A German Busch of Rathenow bacolite compass in working order. Preferred by many in the 101 German Army, made for use under trying conditions. In working order and appears to be dated 43 in one of the underneath markings.

A LOBSTERTAIL HELMET. A 17thC style helmet with high comb and sliding nasal bar. Plume holder at the rear with rivetted tail and 102 peak. The ear pieces are present though detached, the skull of two piece construction.

A WALKING OUT STICK. A weighted walking out or swaggerstick, with leather covered hardwood inner and arabic silver coin ends. 103 18.1/2" overall length, possibly privately purchased by an officer during the war.
