I students will r eceive Statement s of Eligibility for Teaching. Twen,ty students have completed I the Baccalaureate Degr ee P r ogram in Nursing and two the Medical Technology Course. Four graduates will be r egister ed nurses

I who ar e the first to complete a Gr aduate Nurse program in any Rhode Island College. The I program has only been recently appr oved by the National League for Nursing.

I Sunday, May 31, has been designated as Baccalaureate Sunday. The graduates and their parents will attend Mass at St.

I Mary's Church, Newport at 4:30 p. m. The Baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated I by Reverend John Martin Egan, 0. P., and the sermon will be delivered by I Reverend Paul C . Curran, 0. P . , of the Salve Regina faculty. Following the Mass, a dinner for I graduates and their parents, as guests of the college, will be held at the Shamrock I Cliff Hotel at 6:00 p. m. Miss Sheila Carroll, 31 Stockholm St., Newport, will be toast 111istres1 On Saturday evening, May 30, at I the Commencement Ball, Seniors and their escorts will dance to the music of I the Richar d Linson orchestra in the Great Hall of Ochre Court, from 9 to 1.
