Hall at Eastman Theatre Completed in 1922, 2,260 seats Opulent Kodak Hall is the primary concert hall for Eastman’s orchestras, wind ensembles, jazz ensembles, and chorale. It also is the principal hall for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2004, the first phase of a major renovation project replaced the stage and improved acoustics for concerts, opera, and other performances. In 2009 over 800 seats were removed to allow wider aisles, the addition of box seats, and the expansion of the lobby. The impressive chandelier is a focal point of the space.
